Approval Process
Once an adoption application has been reviewed and approved, you will be contacted to let you know. We will then either set up a home visit or will request photos of your home/yard/fencing (if applicable). Once that has been approved, we will set up a time for you to meet the dog you have applied for. If all goes well, you will be permitted to adopt at that time.
*Please note: Adoption fees vary depending on the age of the dog and the medical care the dog requires. When a dog is adopted from Gentle Ben’s, they are fully vetted, vaccinated, heartworm/Lyme’s tested, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Plus, if they require any type of specialized medical care such as entropian surgery, etc., that is all taken care of prior to adoption.
