Xena’s New Family

Xena is a 7 year old St. Bernard who was turned over to us because her owners were moving and could not take her with them. She is a big girl, as sweet as they come, and great with other doogs. She does have some minor issues with arthritis in her back legs and receives monthly Adequan injections which really help her. Adequan is not that expensive and it’s more of a maintenance to help keep her more comfortable.

Right before Christmas, Xena was adopted by a WONDERFUL woman from Maryland. She has adopted 3 other dogs from us and she currently still has Oliver, a Landseer Newfoundland she adopted from us two years ago. She also had a beautiful St. Bernard named Sophie who recently passed away at 14 years old. Oliver needed a new buddy. I thought of Laura right away when we took Xena in and I think Laura was thinking the same thing. Laura said Oliver was so happy to meet his new buddy!
